SUMMARY:Edward Carriere Annual Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:I am pleased to tell you about a very special fund raising event that Edward Carriere will be holding to benefit West Broadway Bear Clan Patrol on Friday November 11th. \n West Broadway Bear Clan Patrol is a community-based solution to crime prevention\, providing a sense of safety\, solidarity\, and belonging to both its members and to the West Broadway community. This is achieved in a non-violent\, non-threatening\, non-judgmental\, and supportive manner primarily through relationship building and reconciliation.\nWest Broadway patrols are out on the streets and riverbanks cleaning up needles/garbage as well as  providing food to homeless and anyone in need every Thursday\, Friday\, Saturday and Sunday. During the holiday season they provide a hot meal and some warm clothes to the homeless as well.\nWest Broadway Patrol also leads a Youth Patrol and will be working with students from Gordon Bell High School. There are plans to work on safety lessons for students at Mulvey School and to incorporate multicultural training in anti-bullying and how to be a good neighbor.\nWith the funds raised by our fundraiser the West Broadway Bear Clan Patrol plans to create a neighborhood food den and provide students of all ages in the area with workshops on drum making and ribbon skirts. \nOn November 11th\, Edward Carriere Salon will be donating 100% of the proceeds from services that day to the West Broadway Bear Clan Patrol. Our entire staff enthusiastically dedicates their day of services to ensure the success of this drive. The salon will be full of energy and simply is a great place to be. In past years\, we have raised an average of $10-20K for organizations in our neighborhood.\nRaffles have been an important element of this fund raising effort. The raffle prizes will be prominently displayed for the entire month of October\, giving our clients & guest the opportunity to enter to win in the weeks leading up to November 11th. We are also currently collecting warm clothing at the salon for the Bear Clan Patrol. \nPlease feel free to drop by with a warm clothing donation or to enter your name into our fantastic raffle prizes.\nRaffle prizes consist of R+Co hair products\, Oribe hair products\, Goldwell hair products\,  Face Stockholm Skin & Makeup\, Yonka skin care\, Gm Collin skin care\, and The Laundress.\nTickets are: 1 for $5\, 3 for $10 and 7 for $20.  \nWe can also accept donations and raffle submissions over the phone as well.  \nThank you!  \n
